Being a Life Giving Person

Jesus brought life everywhere He went. You and I are called to do the same. Ps Shayne delivers a challenging message to help each of us carry that same message to all we meet.
Duration:53 mins 2 secs

Be a life giving person.

Romans 2 : 4.   The goodness of God ends to repentance.

Story about Jesus bringing His life giving ability to a hopeless situation.

John 11 : 1 -

V 2     This is the Mary who came and brought such honour to Jesus with her extravagant offering. She developed a strength of intimacy with Jesus that effected her whole family.

V 3     Therefore the sisters, thank God for the sisters, they sent word to Jesus, and said, :the one YOU love.”  They were not holding back.  One You love, not the one who loves You. Is sick.  Jesus still loves you no matter what is going on in your life.  Before the foundation of the world He decided He was going to love you with an unchanging, unfailing love of God.

V 4     This is the response of a life giving person connected to God. “This is not unto death.”

V 6     He stayed 2 more days.  He didn’t go to this one He loved for 2 more days.  His timing is perfect. We too often try to run ahead of God.  Jesus said, “I only do what I see My Father do.” He only says what He hears His Father saying.

V 7 _ 16   He is finally ready to go down to Judaea and His negative faithless bunch go with Him. They’re going to stone You, what they were really concerned about was that the multitude were going to stone US. Oh, if he sleeps he will get well. Thomas - “Let’s all go and die with Him.”

V 17 _ 20Was Jesus moved by what He saw, the tomb? Was He moved by the COMFORTING crowd? Was He moved by the negative faithless confession of Martha? Was He moved that Mary, one who believed in Him, was at home having a little temper tantrum because Jesus didn’t come when she wanted Him to?

V 23   Jesus in the face of all this speaks life giving words.  Lazarus will rise.  Having faith in the past doesn’t work, Jesus is not living in the past He’s in the now.

V 25   I AM! Believe it and you will experience His life giving power.  Martha finally lets her faith rise up, she spoke what she believed, faith always comes when you hear the Word and she runs off to get Mary.

V 31   All the comforters run off after her, they want to make sure she remains depressed. “She’s going to the tomb to weep.” No she’s not, she is going to meet the life giver.

V 35  Jesus wept, because of their unbelief.

V 38   Groaning out of His spirit.  Romans 8 : 26 ““Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”

V 39   We are so limited to what we can do on our own.  Take away the stone.  You need to take away the stone so you can experience your supernatural miracle. Your miracle is hiding behind your stone of offense, fear, unbelief, hurt, disappointment, pain, rejection, shame. Take it away.  You take it away and Jesus will do the miracle.

V 40   Believe and you will see the glory of God.

V 43   With a loud voice, no turning back when everyone has heard you. Your muscle is alive behind your stone just waiting for the command of faith, COME OUT.  Did not matter that he was still wrapped in grave clothes.

V 44        Unwrap your miracle.

Be a life giving person. Believe the unbelievable, believe the impossible, carry the life of our God.
